We\\\'ve travelled to Costa Rica a few times already and Hotel Raratonga is definitely the best place I can imagine. Very friendly stuff, beautiful rooms, very clean, quiet, close to the beach, close to supermarket and excellent restaurants in the midst of a stunning environment.

I was looking for a clean and affordable place to stay while in Costa Rica and I found heaven! Raratonga offers all the confort you can expect from a 4 stars hotel, in the \\\\\\\"jungle\\\\\\\" and close to the most beautifull beach. I got much more than just a place to stay: the owners are the most lovely people and they made my stay a real pleasure. They are top professionals with a big big heart! Situated very close to the main beach entrance with the best waves, Raratonga has a perfect location. Thanks again Alessia, Stefan and Gianni. Looking foward to stay at Raratonga again and very soon. |

I couldn\\\'t imagine my stay in Santa Teresa to have been better. The hotel itself is indeed a bit small but the rooms are absolutely lovely with their wooden elements, also the surroundings of the hotel are being taken care of in a lovely way, they completely represent the Tico style and the rooms and everything are very clean. The location of the hotel is also perfect, a supermarket is just around the corner and it\\\'s just a few meters from the lovely beach. Not forget mentioning the very helpful and friendly hosts, who will make your stay unforgettable. |

Raratonga was well-equiped and pleasantly charming with a great location close to the beach and restaurants and a grocery store. Staff is incredibly helpful with information about fun things do, making arrangements, reservations, etc... and just all around pleasant. Would certainly recommend it. |

I just wanted to say that my stay at Raratonga was nothing but enjoyable. The hospitality was amazing and the hosts were genuine. I know exactly where I am staying when I go back to Santa Teresa. Even though I had a bit of a snag at the end with my credit card Alesia was very understanding and took a huge burden off of my shoulders. I thank you for that. This is the place to stay for sun and surf in the beautiful country of Costa Rica. |

The Raratonga is a wonderful, restful place to stay. Our family of four was very comfortable. Alessia and her husband went out of their way to help us with everything from extra towels to phone calls. The place is neat, clean, comfortable and classy! |

p.s. On the way from St. Teresa to Montezuma the guy from Budget took us with his car, cause our tire was empty...and somewhere in between the surfboard got lost. I was freaking like a madwoman. Of course we did not find it, so i m hoping to get at least some money back. will see.
